Senvion/REpower turbines are known for proven technology, high-level engineering, and a high-speed drive train; features that combine to keep them running well beyond the original design lifetime.
With a DEIF retrofit control solution, you can boost the AEP of your Senvion wind turbines, keep them running for years, and get full control instead of relying on the OEM. This is all the more important since Senvion Germany went bankrupt in 2019 and OEM support may not be available. (Senvion is still doing business in India as a separate legal entity).

For any Senvion/REpower model, DEIF provides a field-proven retrofit control solution that maximises the potential of your Senvion turbines and gives you complete freedom to operate and service your assets. We replace the original, conservative control philosophy with an approach designed to optimise AEP and give you full control; one example is when we helped EDF Renewables upgrade the control systems of 70 MM92s in California.
Complete solution
We add new state-of-the-art DEIF controllers to the existing Bachmann system, and we replace the Bachmann software with new DEIF application software. The solution is carefully configured to match your site requirements, and we reuse existing hardware as much as possible; for example, we keep the existing safety protection system as is. Installation and commissioning are usually completed on the same day.
